U of L choir lip-syncing scandal showing no signs of dying down

Early last week, the University of Lethbridge Singers, a once prestigious ensemble in the university music department, were embarrassingly caught using a recording during their performance of “Apple Bottom Jeans” by T-Pain. The concert was meant to be a practice run for the choir’s trip to England on March 30 where they would perform the piece for her majesty the queen.
The trip has since been cancelled and the U of L Singers’ conductor has been suspended with a pending review. The conductor’s identity is, by law, not to be printed …

The travelling music festival of Alberta

With its very first shows, Swig of Alberta will open in Lethbridge on March 30 and then make its way north to Calgary (March 31) and Edmonton (April 1).
